Bloomtober 2019
This year for Inktober (which runs for the month of October) I’m participating in the #Bloomtober challenge to draw a whole month of poisonous plants and flowers. I’m combining mine with portraits of women. Here’s what I’ve drawn so far. Are you doing Inktober this year? Let me know in the comments.
Day 1: Bloodroot Flowers
Day 2: Oleander
Day 3: Rosary Pea
Day 4: Bitter Nightshade
Day 5: Death Cap Mushroom
Day 6: Poison Hemlock
Day 7: Corpse Lily
Day 8: Chrysanthemums
The prompt for Day 8 was actually Hammer Orchids but I really wasn’t feeling them so I drew a portrait with some chrysanthemums (which in some countries symbolize death) instead.
